Twitter marketing has become a very important process to growing any brand online which I think is not going to slow own anytime soon. Communication has become a very important step regardless of what platform you use to do it.
Twitter was created for people to be able to communicate on short winded conversations 140 characters at a time but soon thereafter the business community viewed it as a resource to spread their business message.

Do you have a message to spread?
If I was not a business I would probably rarely engage in the conversations of Twitter but since we have a message to spread we use it very frequently and almost on a daily basis. A business message can be spread through a variety of techniques on Twitter.
Let’s take a look at some:
Products
Do you sell products on your website currently? Twitter is a great place to offer a link to either your best selling products or your worst selling products depending on your marketing strategy. As you build up your follower base you can really market some of your products either on a daily or weekly basis.
Services
Promoting services on Twitter is also a great way to spread your business message it just has to be done in a very tasteful manner. Shoveling your services down your audience’s throat is not going to work. Try offering an actual solution to a problem in your messages linking to a specific service page. Try doing this a few times a week or even once rather than every day because you could find yourself in boy who cried wolf scenario. You also want to mix up your wall postings by including industry information topics that will help your community and not necessarily try selling them on something.
Twitter is a great place to really promote what you are doing but you need to be able to do it tastefully and not leave a sour taste in the mouths of your audience. Be polite and aggressive at the same time and you will see nice results over time.
